Hello! My name is Kat and this is my first ever guest post! I blog over at www.allhailthenails.blogspot.com. I'm very excited to be posting for Sam as it means that she's away on her honeymoon and hopefully having a lovely time!

June's Nailbox Review - Festival Fever*

I was thrilled when Nailbox UK got in touch and asked me to review one of their boxes as I've been wanting to try this service for some time. I was sent the box from June and it is excellent!

Opulent Essences - Taste The Rainbow Collection

I've been after some neon polishes for a while now as it's something I'm lacking in my huge polish collection, so was really excited when I discovered the Taste the Rainbow collection from UK Indie brand Opulent Essences. They're super bright and really didn't disappoint.

I have a review and swatches of the newest Once Upon A Time duo from Danglefoot polish to share with you today. This time the duo is inspired by Snow and Charming and the colours are so perfect. I was also lucky enough to be sent a bottle of Hayley's new top coat to try out.

For Your Nails Only - Enchanted Holo Collection

I discovered a new UK indie nail polish brand fairly recently, For Your Nails Only, and I excitedly bought the first collection called the Enchanted Holo collection and it is gorgeous.

Danglefoot Polish Hook & Swan Duo - Collaboration with Hellznails

As soon as I saw that Hayley at Danglefoot Polish was releasing a Once Upon a Time nail polish duo, I knew that I had to have it! No only is the concept amazing but the colours are beautiful too. +Helen Clark over at Hellznails bought the duo too and very kindly asked me if I wanted to do a collaboration post with her, and I jumped at the chance. Read on to see what I thought of the polishes and the nail art I created using them.

Mani Bombs: What Are They All About?*

You've probably seen mani bombs floating around on places like Instagram but ever wondered what they actually are? Hopefully this post will be able to shed a bit of light for you.

My Pretty Zombie - Eye Shadow & Blusher Sample Haul

I've been eyeing up My Pretty Zombie for quite some time so decided it was about time I ordered a few bits to try. Like all new indies I try, I just bought a few samples with a view to buying bigger versions of the ones I love. Here is what I ordered and what I think of everything.

Tony Moly Sheet Mask Review

I ordered myself some sheet masks from eBay to try after Kat at +All Hail The Nails recommend them to me. There are quite a few brands out there that sell them, but the Tony Moly ones seemed to get the best reviews. I've tried all of these out over the past couple of weeks so here is what I thought of them and if I would order again.

Wedding Makeup Ideas

I'm lucky enough to be getting married in September this year, and it probably comes as no surprise that one of the elements I'm most excited about is my wedding day makeup. I've decided to do my makeup myself so I can have it exactly as I want it, so here are a few initial ideas of what I want and some products I have got my beady eye on.

(Please note that none of the images in this post are my own, they have been taken from other sources as a use of inspiration)

I am having a summer garden party theme at a local farm with a 18th century converted barn so I want a fresh, dewy natural look with a slight pop of colour on my lips.

Dawn Eyes Cosmetics - Valentines 2016 Collection

In my quest to find more indie makeup brands to try, I decided to make a spontaneous order from Dawn Eyes Cosmetics after my lovely friend Kat over at +All Hail The Nails told me that they were meant to be great shadows. After reading a few blog posts and seeing nothing but excellent reviews, I decided to give them a try, so here is what I ordered and what I think of them.

Nail Collaboration: Part 4 - 1st Stamping Plate

It is the final week of mine and +Helen Clark's nail art collaboration and for our final prompt we decided to do a mani using our first ever stamping plates. Here is what I created using a plate from my first set of stamping plates.

Nail Collaboration: Part 3 - Inspired by Fashion

Me and +Helen Clark of Hellz Nails are on week 3 of our blog collaboration and this week we decided to do nail art inspired by an outfit...or 3 in this case! We have both worked off the same picture but we have no idea what the other is doing, so this is a really fun prompt! Here is the mani I created using one of the outfits for inspiration.

Nail Collaboration: Part 2 - Recreation

It is week 2 of mine and +Helen Clark's blog collaboration, and this week we are doing a recreation mani. We had to pick one of each other's mani's from Instagram to recreate and I was really spoiled for choice! I managed to narrow it down, so here is the mani I recreated and I hope I've done it justice.

Nail Collaboration: Part 1 - My Favourite Stamping Plate

Me and the lovely, talented Helen over at +hellz nails decided that we would do a little collaboration in February as we both want to put more effort into our blogs this year. We have picked 4 prompts to do this month, posting 1 a week, and the first week is favourite stamping plate. Here is the mani I created using my favourite plate, and there's also a tutorial to go with it. Enjoy!

Bold Metals Brush Dupes

I'm not one for buying fake makeup, I learnt the hard way on that when I bought a fake The Balm blusher from Ali Express and it was utter rubbish, but I do love a good brush dupe. I spotted these lovely brushes on Amazon and had to give them a try. Here's what I think of them.
