As I mentioned last month, I am going to be buying from at least one UK indie polish maker each month and blogging about it, and this month it is the turn of Princess Nail Lacquer. I picked a very seasonal appropriate set so if you love sparkles then keep reading!
Princess Nail Lacquer is an indie nail polish company run by the lovely Ashleigh. I discovered PNL on Instagram a while ago and I love seeing Ashleigh's page grow, and especially love seeing all of the new collections that she comes out with. When browsing on her website, I couldn't resist treating myself to the Festive Sparkle Trio. The colour selection is gorgeous and who doesn't love sparkles at this time of year?!
We have Ruby, Gold Digger & Let's Go Party!
I'll start with Gold Digger as I couldn't wait to try this one out.

Macro shot which really shows off the gorgeous glitter.
The swatches above show 2 coats which is plenty to give good coverage. I was pleasantly surprised with the formula because it's so glitter heavy I expected it to be really hard to use, but that wasn't the case at all. Not only was it easy to work with but it dried SO quickly too. The perfect festive gold!
Next up is Let's Go Party!

Again, the swatch shows 2 coats with top coat and it gave lovely coverage. The formula of this was just as nice as Gold Digger and this also dried in super quick time. I really love the fact that there's a non-traditional Christmas colour in this set because this is something I'll use all year round.
Finally we have Ruby.

Like the other 2 in the collection, this was 2 really easy coats with top coat. Also like the other 2, this dried really quickly and the formula was fantastic. This is such a beautiful traditional Christmas red and I think this will be getting a lot of use this month!
Overall, I'm so happy with this little collection of polishes and considering it retails for just £10 for the mini set and £15 for the full sized set, it's a real bargain. I can't wait to try some more Princess Nail Lacquer polishes now!
You can find the shop here and make sure you give Ashleigh a follow on Instagram too @princessnaillacquer.
Which is your favourite from the collection? Have you tried any of Ashleigh's polishes before? Let me know in the comments.
